MUST TRY WESTWOOD RESTAURANTS
Westwood is a diverse area with many great Westwood restaurants to choose. From international flavors and cuisine to American classics- there’s something for everyone in this little part of Los Angeles! We love visiting three Westwood restaurants in particular:
1. Emporium Thai – 1275 Westwood Blvd
Emporium Thai has been one of the country’s top 100 best Thai Food restaurants since 2000. They have also been featured in many magazines, and online articles praised for their warm atmosphere, friendly service, and, most importantly, their delicious food. We highly recommend starting with the Crispy Chicken Dumplings and the Phuket Wings. The entrée is a no-brainer with Massaman Curry, an alluring panoply of flavors that will have you coming back for seconds! The food here is excellent, and we can see ourselves becoming loyal customers.
2. Pomodoro Trattoria – 1393 Westwood Blvd
Regarding Italian food, you can never go wrong with a good pasta dish! This place has some of the best that Westwood has to offer. The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere with outdoor seating if you want to bring your furry friend or enjoy an afternoon sunbather. Some of our favorite dishes offered were Risotto Al Funghi, Farfalle con Pollo, and Linguine al Salmon. Westwood has several excellent Italian restaurants, but this one is definitely among the best.
3. STK – 930 Hilgard
STK is a luxurious and exquisite steakhouse located inside the W Hotel. The food here has been specifically prepared for those who love their meat, which offers some of America’s best cuts! Although it’s a bit pricey, the Lobster Mac & Cheese is a must-try. We suggest visiting STK with a large group and ordering bigger cuts of meat for everyone to share. They are delicious. The porterhouse and tomahawk steaks were tender and flavorful without any unnecessary added flavors that would distract them from being the show’s true star.
